ADA Golf Car Policy and Form
(applies to players and caddies)
Consistent with the Americas with Disabilities Act (ADA), a disabled player or caddie may be permitted to use a golf car as an accommodation to his or her disability for those Championships where golf cars are not allowed. As required by the ADA, the PGA of America will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis. Please use the form above for all requests of this type.
The PGA of America has adopted a gender policy which sets forth the procedures by which a transgendered player may participate in a PGA of America championship. The policy seeks to assure fair competition for all entrants in any championship where it is a requirement that a player is a specific gender (male or female); the player must identify himself or herself during the entry application process as a person of that particular gender. Failure to provide proof of gender when gender has been reassigned, and to comply with the process and procedures set forth in the above policy, may result in disqualification from the championship.
